The best possible defense you can have against a confusing and often foreboding legal system is to never be involved with it. What Is Proactive Defense?


Despite your best efforts, you can't always account for the actions of others and may at one point or another find yourself a defendant in a court case. From that hot seat, your only concern is going be finding the quickest and most painless way out of it. There are ways to go about it, but the ones most likely to see you through with minimal costs require some extra effort on your part.

Applicable Cases


Using a proactive defense doesn't apply to every court situation, but should be useful to the most common ones. Generally speaking, the best situation in which to practice a proactive stance in your defense is with common, low-gravity cases (fighting a traffic ticket, for example), though the techniques can sometimes be applied to more serious cases like personal injury. In those situations, take your cues from your legal representation.
